Man, this series really needs new leadership. Literally every time Masuda opens his mouth, he proves just how out of touch he is with the games that he's producing. Pokemon's timeline is not super important, but it's also not that complicated. Some games like GSC or BW2 are direct sequels, while others make clear references to past events.
