one reason I did the overlay the way it is is because I use OBS to record things, I don't edit in the overlay after the recording is done so any editing of the overlay has to happen mid-episode so the slide show felt like the only way to do that
the other reason is that it was the first solution i found so I stuck with it lol but I will try and figure out something else, thank you
