>>52912381>ParalysisFighting types are immune to dazed/paralysis
>No longer centered around electric types - now based around Flinches and Critical HitsThis makes Paralysis an evergreen status, something heavily needed by non-elemental types.
>Dazed>Pokemon that have been flinched or critically hit become dazed. Dazed Pokemon lose 25% Speed. Moves used against Dazed Pokemon have increased critical hit ratios. Flinching or Critting a Dazed Pokemon pushes this status to Paralyzed>Paralyzed>Speed reduced 50%, Priority moves used by Paralyzed Pokemon lose 1 priority. >Moves against Paralyzed Pokemon have even higher critical hit ratios>Accuracies of moves used against Paralyzed Pokemon are increased by a flat 10%This makes Paralysis a strong status for non-elemental types, where flinch and crits reign supreme. It most notably hands a status to the Normal and Fighting types. I will most likely not make moves like Fake Out have their flinches contribute to the status, but I can still see that as something to leave in to make Fake Out a more potent opening shot. If I did something like that, I'd drop the base damage of the move to keep it from being as good of a revenge kill move to clarify the move's identity as an opening shot / setup rather than a closer.
Some electric status moves will still inflict Paralysis directly. Maybe a fighting status move to inflict this status as well, as this new layout fits nicely with Fighting's identity.
