>>51251557Yes his idea of a finale involved Pokemon realizing they were being treated as slaves and them rising up against their human masters. At points in his blog he compares Pokemon captivity to slavery, he even says that Pikachu doesn't want to be Ash's property and that Meowth isn't Jesse's and James' property but their companion. He also says he didn't like to use the phrase "get it", which I assume it's actually "catch" when talking about living creatures. It looks like he had a kind of problem with the depiction relationship between humans and Pokemon.
