I often catch a male Gard in the games so I never noticed it but apparently "Gardevoir is female only" is a very common misconception. I still see normies arguing and firmly believe that Gard is 100% female evolution til this day
Gallade is fine but personally everything cool about him is done better by Bisharp (with bonus villain henchman vibe instead of a noble swordsman, which is very endearing) and he looks like one of those generic fantasy anime protagonist made into a Pokemon. I really liked him when I was a little kid though so I can't bring myself to dislike him. He's a fine addition to the Ralts family.
