Actual Effects: Deals damage, then raises the Defense of the damaged pokemon by one stage.
Basically, a high damage attack that buffs the enemy in exchange for more power. Most of the time it's a strict upgrade, but is particularly bad against bulky stall pokemon who can heal themselves.
