>>41379662If they used her in movies Sabrina would probably be an exposition tool for picking up premonitions about events and communicating with Pokemon, but I actually think the choice of Sabrina would have a bigger impact on the cast arrangement for 2000 and the show around that period. As short a time period onward as it is, I think the butterfly effect makes it too hard to predict.
Brock was removed for the potential to be seen as racist, and replaced with Tracey. Tracey was designed basically to be a white/safe replacement for Brock (even though no one had actually complained). A similar "Fem-Tracey" could have existed as a more down-to-Earth temporary replacement for Sabrina, for fears (or actual) occult controversy. I imagine they would only want to cut one familiar face and not both.
So the supporting cast would probably be Brock and a female character that doesn't exist in our reality/timeline, but potentially Tracey and said non-existant female character too. If they replaced her with a unique character I have to imagine she would be longer lived and more popular than Tracy at the very least.
Depending on how they handled her in the show Misty would actually be a feasible replacement for the need to have a down-to-Earth character, in which case you could ironically end up with the "correct" movie we didn't get with Ash/Misty/Brock, although the dynamics and personalities would be altered.
I think if they cut Sabrina similarly to Brock she would definitely be back for the Entei movie and would have a big detective role in solving the mystery, trying to unhypnotize Ash's mom, and dealing with Molly.
I think Sabrina's character arc could actually have ended in the show, unlike Misty and Brock that dragged on, Sabrina would be a bit distracting from the Pokemon and Ash regardless of her popularity. Even so I think she would probably get a cool human vs Pokemon psychic struggle and maybe show off an Alakazam and bring Haunter back out for comic relief.
