Make it similar in concept to pic related as an alternative evo for Dragonair instead of retconning the existing Dragonite. Dragonite is cool, but Dragonair deserves a proper evolution.

I adore Dragonair. It's one of my most favorite mons. Dragonite is fine on it's own and I don't mind it, but I dread how Dragonair evolves into it. That's my only real issue with Dragonite. A majestic and beautiful snek waifu somehow turns into a chunky cutesy dragon. It's a huge disappointment.
