>>21149899So I get to Destral City and it actually looks the most original of all the cities thus far. It takes the building design of the Game Corner and applies it to all the buildings around, as well as adding the highways of Cycling Road, and it actually feels like not a copypaste. It also has the Bike Shop and all four Contest Halls.
I meet Wally's Dad trying to make him man up, beat him in battle, and he leaves. I go back to Cycling Road now that I have the bicycle, and it's unchanged from RSE. Up at the end of the route is Tamashii, who challenges me to a battle.
Both her and Krona have Pikachu as one of their few Pokémon, and I'm not sure if the hacker realized that overlap when making the game given his neglect of other things.
I get to Borora Town, and it's blatantly Lavaridge with no non-aesthetic edits. There's a Gym here, but I think I'll stop for the night since I've been playing this uninterrupted for several hours and it's probably not healthy to play something this shitty for that long. Overall, the cringe has been downplayed for a while; no new custom sprites, the edgelord hasn't appared in a while, the other rivals range from okay to pleasant in Krona's case (Krona might be the one character I actually somewhat like just because she feels like her personality has an ounce of thought to it -- she is a bit generic with her general niceness, but she's the only character capable of more than one emotion, and being generically nice is better than being generically edgy by a lot) and none of that time travel bullshit has poked through in a while.
I'm sure it'll go downhill soon, but it's been mostly dull for the last few towns.
