I do think the color was better before, and still wish they'd update it to be more like that, but as far as animation and model goes, Zard got a huge improvement. I HATED it's sprite in Gen 5, especially the neck. It was too think, too long. Plus, now Zard flies, which is how I prefer seeing him. He is an aerial fighter, after all. If the color wasn't as washed out, it'd be perfect.
