Alright, so a quick overview for anyone unfamiliar with blazelblack/voltwhite 2 redux. There are 4 vanilla catches prior to the first gym, this hack also adds a monkey in floccesy town, as well as an egg that can pull from a decently large pool in the ranch. I personally, as well as a few nuzlocke enjoying friends of mine, allow both the egg and the normal catch at the ranch because it still only puts you at a team of 6 for gym 1, and the plasma grunt you fight at the ranch is actually pretty strong in this.
