Even worse, either by the author's own desire or as a stipulation from Gamefreak nearly every new feature each gen has to be mentioned. This leads to dumb crap like the author trying to explain how soaring differs from flying in ORAS.
And then there is the fact that when the author tries to write his own plotlines it usually is terrible. He does well with a little bit of creative input but several arcs he goes way overboard and it shows (Emerald, BW2).
>>43305244Gen 1, 2, 3, and 4 are worth it but there are some bad arcs in them (I did not care for Yellow but some people do, FRLG is meh, Emerald arc sucks, Platinum arc is a bit disappointing compared to DP but still decent, HGSS sucks). Past that Gen 5 has promise but as others said comes out 50:50. XY I did not like at all. ORAS sucks. And I stopped reading there.
