>>25014980I forgot to specify but I needed to format my 3DS sysnand to downgrade to 9.2 and set up CFW and shit which I really wanted. This is not supposed to happen but some people just can't boot after downgrading because of unknown incompatible files and are forced to update back using safe mode (in this case it's a softbrick). Formatting is the only known fix for this and SMD, along with other recent games, aren't backupable by homebrew, only by savedatafiler which is 9.2/CFW only.
Basically I had to choose between CFW or my save with just the story. And had little time because Nintendo was very likely to push an update by 11th which would fuck me up if I softbricked. Went for CFW, and here I am going full weeaboo with this drum game thing.
