I don't even know why GF insists on the arbitrary 100 increase of BST for all Mega Pokemon. If a Pokemon, like Beedrill or Pidgeot, gets a mega evolution, GF should give them some more leeway, because even with 100+ increase in BS, they're still weaker than pseudo-legendaries, but without the ability to carry items. 600 BST should be the bare for minimum for all mega evolutions, or at least give the ones below that limit the ability to carry items. Hell, why not just give these guys a new evolution instead of a temporary one? They're common mons, for heaven's sake.
