AltRed on the other hand is phenomenal on a blind playthrough as all of its "fakemon" are based off of regular pokemon, but the are grounded enough so that they seem like they could be actual pokemon if they're real counterparts didn't exist. This Exemone is a pretty good example. They're overall a bit meaner and more violent looking than the real versions but I think it sets a good theme to the game.
