>>28124581>Care to actually refute the logic that a game drawing heavy influence from the worst generation of Pokemon is only naturally going to reflect the same shit quality of said generation? I don't need to refute it, because you have yet to prove it. But just to humor you: Alola Forms for old Pokemon and Mimikyu are not "heavy influence". If anything, this game looks to be departing from the traditional formula more than any mainline Pokemon game before it.
>No gyms, replacing it with a mixture of trials and "boss" Pokemon capped by Kahunas.>Evil team is radically different from all those that came before them.>HMs look to be getting even more phased out than before due to Riding Pokemon + Soaring. >Interesting experimentation with unconventional evolutions and form changes.>Addition of super moves and potentially some kind of bonding mechanic.>Expanding even further on Pokemon Amie with the addition of grooming and possibly other things.>Trainers now show up in battles.>Pokemon actually just appear on the terrain instead of having weird circle platforms.>Added a means of altering IVs without having to breed. Now please explain this "heavy genwun influence" that is supposed to ruin these games. Go on, I could use a good laugh.
