There's of course story shit and some boss fights but it's pokemon writing so it's not really worth the time to really read it, just have to get through it to unlock things.
Volo was vaguely interesting at first but it got too heavy handed in the end, they do it every fucking time, why won't Gamefreak hire some writers?I thought it would get boring pretty quick, but you can move along at your own pace, so it's kept my attention. Only impediment is that the map design isn't particularly good, though a step up from the shitfuck wild area.
