I got my gf into Pokemon when I started to play Pokemon more seriously (IV breeding and stuff). She was a huge genwunner since she had watched the anime as a kid but never played the games, so I guided her into the right path. Granted, she's casual as fuck and mostly cares about what the Pokemon look like, top tier karenfag. No interest in natures, EV training, IVs, breeding, egg moves, or competitive viability, just casual playing. She's also always asking for my help when playing since she has trouble remembering the type chart or what moves are good and so on. So yeah, we're not having any deep conversations about Pokemon but it's better than nothing I guess. Her favorite Pokemon BY FAR is Wigglytuff, which has to be in her every team, and her favorite types are Normal and Fairy.
