2 regions with a tolerable story. Clover is peak romhack that you would expect from 4chan. Hard as hell while being completely new on the dex, trainers, etc. Crystal Clear is QoL Crystal version of pokemon that let you fight any gym in any order without being a slave to the HM.
The Elite 4 are somehow worse OCs that you would expect from a bad romhack. Personally, I like Flora Sky. Its one of the more "safer" gen3 Romhack as the story is vanilla as hell, the gyms are somewhat okay, and it has pokemons from other gen. There two version of it with a dramatically different dex. The downside is that you can get lost if you don't know where you're going, and there certain part of the game that can lock you out of a good training spot if you don't know ahead of time.
