is Kanto asian? Johto is totally japan. Hoenn I feel didnt intend to have a specific country, but go for its own theme, going on the previous two in design.
Sinnoh, seems to be China to me, or Greece, or countries that have heavy mythology.
and from there on, needs no explanation.
But Kanto...always seemed like America to me? Anyone else feel the same?
