Very likely. Pokémon was born and originated on Nintendo's console handheld GameBoy platforms. Making a full blown mainline Pokémon games for home console that of the originals like the handheld versions would pretty much be killing it with a new different out of sync player experience and nothing would go right anyway. It'd be a new system and platform for Pokémon, I bet Pokémon Switch's game/s will be nothing like the handheld mainline games. Just watch, if any Pokémon Switch title/s / game/s hit, it'll/they'll be very likely another Pokémon Stadium spin-off clone.
