So, what do you think these two are being set up for? Obviously, Ash and Serena have been hyped up constantly by the anime and fans... and every scene where it's them interacting, the ambiance tuns to tranquility with the music, the camera angling, etc... so, what could it be for?
M guess is that it's either going to be for the league (Serena encourages/helps Ash win it all by reminding him of who he is and how he never gives up until the end, or something meaningful).... or... it's going to be for Team Flare. Perhaps Serena gets abducted by them and/or is about go get caught in some sort of doomsday beam. Or, she gets caught in the center of Flare's global apocalypse plan and has to be rescued with high stakes.
