>>13425768That's what I was thinking too, but with GS being in the early stages it was at that point dark type could have easily not have existed yet, so my assumption was that Tyranitar was originally Rock/Ground or just Rock and he owned both of them. The turtle also could have been a ground/dark or water/dark Pokémon, so I'm not sure. I was just saying what most people think.
There's been some question of whether this is real or not, but it's supposedly an early design from GS. I think it was found with some wayback machine exploring on one of Nintendo's websites or something.
Interestingly enough, I recently read a little "history of Pokégods" thing, and one of the descriptions matched this Pokémon exactly. A lot of the Pokégods said to be in RBY were based on Pokémon already seen from GSC, so it made a lot of sense.
