I refuse to pay money for a mainline Pokémon game until Game Freak gets their head out of their asses. Last game I bought was XY, because I liked Gen 5 and didn't expect the big 3DS debut to be so bad. I'm probably going to wait until the Switch has piracy before I get any Pokémon games past USM.
At least we have fangames and ROMhacks, even if Nintendo is actively trying to stamp them out.
