Okay so I'm currently working on a rough 'draft' of a trailer for a Pokémon Sage Mystery Dungeon animé-style special. The basic idea is that I'd make this 'draft' trailer, then a higher quality real trailer made of parts of scenes I'd want to include in the finished product, and then possibly go on to make the episode itself (which I'd imagine would be like 5 to 10 minutes in length though if I get the knack well enough, who knows?)
For the 'draft' trailer I'm happy to be self-reliant for the most part, but I could use some help with the plot of the episode I'd be making a trailer for (which I obviously need to establish first), along with some obvious critique of my own ideas.
My thoughts so far:
>growmeo as protag with phlask as sidekick
>cowboy/wild west theme inspired by rango a little
>focus on smaller/pre-evolved pokemon as central characters, with larger pokemon serving roles in plot (see next)
>somberado either as main villain or villain's right hand
>gnuru (levitating of course) as a wise figure to consult in quest
>doppole, carbite, icetope and possibly toxito on rival team
>somberado, volcaroc and maybe magroplex as villains
>nobunata (with a dodgy japanese accent) sacrifices himself by dueling a villain
If people who usually wouldn't contribute to the game have any ideas they'd be welcome. My main problem is just trying to get a structure out of all this.
Pic related is the start of the draft I worked on last night.
