People would talk to you anywhere. Doing misc grinding, running PQs with randoms, taking the orbis boat, running on through Henesys, even just in random maps sometimes. There'd even be people helping newer players, which I'd experienced first hand when I was new to the game. I was just asking around about where I should be grinding at my level in Kerning, some guy not only took the time to lead me there but also gave me mesos to help get me started, then added me as a friend and we'd occasionally talk over the time I played.
They were some good times.
