And as another Anon brought up, if the parents show up that would be a problem (tho most animals leave the nest pretty quickly, so it's easy enough to assume Pokémon would mostly do the same).
Anything further from towns I think would be marginally more difficult.

Now with humans their "SPT" (subconscious psychic translator), would help them understand them, but humans would obviously have an harder time understanding the Pokémon.
>battle for moneyI don't think "irl" that would be a thing (unless specifically agreed on), much like people practicing casual sports don't go around betting on it. So, again, like previously mentioned, I think monetary reward would only come in official competitions/matches.
