I honestly would rather Dunsparce to stay a single stage mon instead of getting a regional variant. But the fact that it's canonically an ultra rare Pokemon makes me believe that it somehow having another form is nonsensical but then again, GameFreak gave the Legendary Birds regional forms so everything is possible. Even Masuda said people should not think seriously about the lore, giving him and his team an excuse to rape the very core of the lore. The leaker said it's a cross-gen evo and PLA having straight cross-gen evos also gives me hope.
