Nor is it even all members of races, mostly just walking stereotypes that tend to be very unpleasant. Including those for whites.
If someone is making this face, they're smiling through discomfort (see pic). Real smiles make the cheeks lift not just go straight out. Unless someone has really practiced they probably can't reproduce a real one.
