when I was in 4th grade I got sapphire, so I had to have been like 9.
I remember playing crystal in 5th grade because my only vivid memory of that game was playing it at daycare after school. I can’t have been more than 10. I remember playing red in between that and sapphire but can’t pinpoint exactly when. Its crazy that it seemed so much longer back then. Diamond and Pearl came out when I was in 6th grade and I remember playing that. Then Platinum was the last pokemon game I played until my senior year of high school when x and y came out and I bought it because pokemon in 3d seemed like such a futuristic concept.
