>>44788470Sorry, you're right. The Wild Area is even more linear than a hallway because the only other part that you can reach during the story is gated off making it effectively nothing more than a dead end.
They had one job with the Wild Area, and they blew it. The least they could have done was pull a Zelda and just make it the Hyrule Field connecting to the first three towns, but they didn't.
It's a hallway.
