pokemon is a sad excuse for a shounen; it was and always will be.
thats honestly why i like sm as opposed to other seasons. its not trying too hard to be totally radicool and i can watch it with a non-shounen mindset. it's really chill and fun to wind down with.
anyone who actually likes the genre and not just pokemon in itself would say that xy is a drag.
