They judge other generations so critically but when it comes to judging the first they can't handle giving up that childhood memory that they hold dear.
Nostalgiafags are usually people who couldn't obtain any games after R/B/Y and had to eventually come up with reasons to make the newer generations less appealing to make themselves not want them. The same can be said about Johtofags but add the fact that in order to play R/S/E one would first have to obtain a GBA.
I like reading all the half-assed petty arguments and just see this firsthand. It makes me really appreciate sticking with the franchise as long as I have and it makes me even more excited for the Pokemon Generations to come.
