>what is sweeping? what if you have scarf? then you need the power of outrage in end-game situations. >what if you have scarf? This actually brings up a pretty valarious (combination of valid and hilarious fyi) point which is that the entire basis of your argument that Dragon Claw + Outrage is a good strategy was based on a typo
on the worst moveset available for Haxorus on smogon
in its gen 5, not 6 assessment.
But yeah, d-dance haxorus is far superior in either case. The fact that some people DO use scarf/band means you can easily bring it out to scare off whatever's out while you use D-Dance too, so that's a plus. And if you use it twice the difference between Dragon Claw and Outrage becomes even more negligible, though obviously this is risky since haxorus has only moderate bulk.
>You yourself have finally said DC is good.Whoah m8, brush up that reading comprehension. Listen up cus I'm only gonna say it one more time, bucko:
MY STANCE HAS BEEN THAT DRAGON CLAW IS GOOD FROM THE START. I HAVE ONLY ARGUED FOR OUTRAGE BEING SHITE.
Comprende, amigo? If not that's too bad I guess, we'll just have to sit here spinning our wheels until you're ACTUALLY done with this argument.
>Do you think it is never a good idea to have outrage too despite the examples I've given?Yes, I think it is never a good idea to consign the moveset of a major member of your team which any dragon is going to represent with a few exceptions that shouldn't be on an OU team to begin with to completely circumstantial scenarios designed entirely around being sort-of-vaguely exploitable by having both. It's a mediocre at best strategy in the circumstantial examples you've given and a very bad play in the vast majority of cases.
