I'll admit I may be bending the rules on this but I decided to catch a Slowpoke and evolve it into SLowbro with rare candies to trade for Lickitung. With him and Snorlax Surfing Blaine was easy. Then I had to go to the Sevii islands and when I was fighting the head biker guy on 3 Island, his Muk set up so many acid armors and minimizes that my team could barely do any damage. Along with the poison, it killed porygon and lickitung. Also my fearow died on the was to cinnabar to a crit aurora beam, that was just me being stupid. Feels like fate that everyone who died in the first run is now dead again. Also I'm forced to add Eevee and Ditto to the team now, which is pretty worrisome for the Elite 4.
