Why were starter evolutions before the 3ds era so perfect? Seriously, I love all of the Gen 4 starters. Nowadays, it’s hard to be impressed by starter evolutions. There’s always that one or two out the three that are just WTF. Gen 7 evos were a monstrosity. We can only hope that Gen 8 evolutions will be better.
