Just finished my first Purity Forest run in DX legitimately and I totally didn't abuse the password system to revive over 10 times like a game journalist, no sir!
I just wanted a pierce band and Celebi, and I picked a terrible mon for this. I'll try legitimate runs with more planning next.>>55948225I personally like it more than the original mostly because of the gameplay adjustments. I've never bothered much with non-story postgame content in the other games, but with this one I am going through everything (it's the first game where I am giving the lvl 1 dungeons a try). However, the changes definitely make the game easier and that is a turnoff to some.
The art style is divisive. It has its charms but prefer the pixels. That being said, I don't mind it for Rescue Team since I did not have much attachment to the spritework as I think it was still a bit rough. If it was an Explorers remake I would have minded it more.
