OP here, thanks for the feedback so far.
While we're here I've got a question for those of you who read it.
Do you think any of the things listed here are particularly unreasonable or too hard to have together in the same game?
I ask because there are plenty of people who in response to criticism or suggestions for improvement of the games claim that I'm either entitled, or that I'll never be happy and so Gamefreak shouldn't even bother.
But for me at least this game with the features I described would be a solid 10/10, and I'm someone who honestly hates Kanto and its incessant pandering. But with the amount of quality of life changes and the modernisation of the story and region my dislike for Kanto would be irrelevant. It would still be an undeniable fantastic game (In my eyes at least, I'm obviously biased)
