The only thing that can damage this kind of investiment is
1) nuclear war (however...after a war this will be considered as a pre-war item so...yeah if you will survive and live to see the new society that might become useful and valuable as a sign of a previous world)
2) death of pokemon (i dont think it will happen but its also BIZZARE to think that there will be the 20th generation someday...will there be one?)
3) (the MOST realistic one) - future generations won't be as toy-driven as current boomer manchild that jerk off all over charizards. Kids nowadays love it - yeah. But will they become dumb cards buying manchildren in their 30-40s? In the future the world and society will be completely different. Many social media that exists today might not even exist and there will be different meta of "geek life"
