>>43205608It's fine if you don't find Jacob Sheep interesting. In that same way I guess Araquanid is just a spider. Maybe I'm uncultured enough to think a sheep with a cool coat and four sicksas horns is unique, so be it. Or the way that it ties in and expands on the fluffy "spherical" shape of Wooloo with a soccerball, perfectly tying in with regional themes and giving it a fun pokemon-y touch. Or how Wooloo's pigtails foreshadow not only the grey mane but the secondary pair of horns.
If you think this design's boring you probably think most normal type designs are boring but this is literally the perfect way to make a normal type. Meowth's a great design too but Persian takes away from its design and makes it a generic panther with only a red dot to remind us of Meowth's coin, whereas Dubwool takes everything about Wooloo and expands on it perfectly. I didn't like Wooloo when it was first revealed but this is a 10/10 evolution and surprised me every step of the way.
I could make more autismal rants about designs I like but why bother, eh?
