>>44308771Golduck was pretty instrumental in getting past Roxie and her poison types. Other than that, it's not that Golduck is bad, it's just very mediocre. It has a total BST of 500 so you think it'd be alright, but then you see that it's stat distribution is very uniform, only 18 point difference between the highest and lowest stats.
But in BW2 you don't get much chance for any water pokemon until after the 5th gym (Psyduck, Azurill before the 1st gym, and Ducklett before the 5th) so I ended up just keeping it. Really should have used it in an earlier game but oh well.
