There's so much time spent sitting there watching attack animations play, watching tera transformations play, watching the shield break, all while the timer is ticking down, they really need to just eliminate a lot of these animations or let you lock in your next move or give you something productive to do while the important animations are happening so you're not wasting all this time sitting there sweating because the timer is going down and you can't do anything. I understand some of the animations are important for keeping everything in sync and balancing the raid so one player can't just spam attacks while their lower level teammates arent doing anything.
Also they need to better explain how the raids even work, and better communicate which attacks only hit you vs hitting everybody. There are times where single target attacks can hit anybody like charizard using flare blitz at the start of his raid and other times where multi target moves like earthquake will only hit one person. There's also times where the raid pokemon gets to attack twice in a row. These are not like normal battles but they never take any time to explain or communicate the differences, which are super important for having any clue what's going on. As a result of that and the horrible sync issues, the raids just feel like a complete cluster fuck where nobody has any idea what's going on, whether things are going well or not, who's helping the most, etc.
Generally I think the raids are a neat idea but they got a lotta work they need to do to make them actually fun and not a complete shitfest. I would also like to see post battle stats where everybody can see who did the most damage, who provided the most stat boosts, etc. Give some feedback to people so they know if they're doing well or not
