After a week out of the country and a day straight of ducking through airports (fuck Paris in particular) I'm ready to be a useless piece of shit all day and watch Pokemon.
Watching the episode where they do a send up of Ninja Warrior/Takeshi's Castle/pick obstacle course show, and I thought about what the other recapanon and others were discussing re: Dawn's skirt while I was lurking the past week. The animators really did have to bend over backwards to avoid upskirting her or having her ass hanging out at certain points. I'm sure the coomers love it, but it does mean Dawn's movements are restricted when she's not in her Contest dress. The easy solution would've just been to modify her design slightly from the game for the anime to accommodate the fact that her game sprite can have an infinitely short skirt because it doesn't move that much. Either lengthen her skirt to just above her knees like Lillie or Serena, or give her something to cover her upper thighs like May. After seeing Mollie jumping around in a mini-skirt and in Horizons, I'm a big fan of the leggings idea. It should make the coomers happy while letting the animators have Dawn do cool backflips or whatever.
