>>41134061>but I can assure you it isn't. Dungeons, in every generation until now, are the very essence of Pokémon games. They're where you find the most trainers, the most items, the most puzzles and the most interesting, mysterious nuggets of lore. In Sword and Shield all of that is gone, and there is no replacement. He hasn't played SM has he?
Still I agree nu-Pokemon needs better route design. Part of what made the first 5 generations so fun was the fact that you could go back and visit. The availability that something like like cut or surf made going back through older areas worthwhile since more often than not you could find items or areas that were previously unobtainable.
Same with dungeons the variety of areas and dead end sthat contained stuff made exploration worthwhile. Now everything is a straightline, why should I spend extra time on your game? There is nothing to offer me, even if I go out of my way to see something it will be sealed off or empty.
Just go back to overhead sprite games Gamefreak, clearly you do not have the ambition or drive to create a meaningful fully 3D experience.
