to everyone who noted this game was starting to get real bullshit yesterday, yeah, it's apparently going to get much worse.
surprisingly, there's no boss in rock tunnel, one thing to note about this hack is that hms are automatic - simply having a pokemon in your party that can perform an hm will make it automatically activate when needed. so cut just means you can press A on trees to destroy them, flash automatically illuminates rock tunnel and makes it a lot less tedious, liked that quite a bit.
there's also no forced boss from lavender to celadon, either. the rival isn't even in pokemon tower. there is a weird NPC in mr. fuji's house who i guess is supposed to be morty, i don't feel like facing him yet as i feel he'll have some BS like mega gengar and i don't have the best mons for taking out ghosts. might explore celadon today, might not
