>>44895233I'd train my team in naturally evasive strategies and speed. The anime universe has the Speed Boost as not only an actual speed boost, but an evasion one as well. I'd be taking advantage of that by training my team in outmaneuvering their opponents while also pitting them up against a variety of different attacks so they can become more accustomed to dodging more and more complex/unique attacks. In addition to the evasion training, I would work very hard at teaching my Pokemon how to use their moves as uniquely and creatively as possible, the anime shows us that it takes more than just basic type advantage to win these fights you need to know the ins and outs of every move you have and figure out strategies to work off of them.
Last, but certainly not least. I would always work to build teamwork and trust within the group. My Pokemon would never fight alone in wild battles or battles against dangerous people unless they asked too, I'd even learn how to fight so I can fight side by side with them. Most of my Pokemon would probably be outside of their Pokeballs unless they want to stay inside them, and they are free to leave whenever they want. I'd love to teach them how to talk too, but if that's not possible then I'll stick to a psychic type translator, having the ability to communicate more actively really helps with training as they can better verbalize what they are feeling and their needs or ideas.
