It is flawed, it wasn't optional and you couldn't just which Pokémon you wanted to follow you. Still great feature and lots of fun.

Johto has always been my favourite. Always liked the vibe of tradition and culture in the Pokémon world that I personal feel that Johto brings.

Gen 2 is my favourite gen of all time, I just love how it feels when I play it (a mix of nostalgia and just generally the games atmosphere). And the remakes did so well and added new features to keep it fresh.
