It baffles my mind when people shit on gen 3. The region is an absolute joy to explore every time. Every route has a completely different set of Pokémon (sinnohfags seethe), and every route makes you want to explore every inch and uncover every secret. If gen 3 had the laid back story of gen 2 instead of the late era apocalypse plot it would be peak Pokémon.
