>>56120184Well, not to be rude but that's actually a strategy you can do. It's how I got one of my first wins with Garganacl and Glimmora with Stealth Rocks and Toxic Spikes respectively. I kept switching between my Levitate Weezing and my Bisharp. Ivy stopped switching after every 3-4 turns to use an attack but nothing stops you from using the strategy again. It was enough to weaken her Pokemon in order to win with my jank team.
I do think that retries are pretty lame though and ruin the spirit of the game. The only exceptions I would make to that is for an endless run that is into the far 2000s-3000s because it takes forever to start up a run again.
(I'm a different anon from the Lysandre one. The only time I had trouble was at the beginning of the game and the stupid Gen 2 Challenge.)
