outside of being purposefully dishonest to defend the franchise at all costThe best way to describe what people want isn't open world, but open areas with real scope. SM slightly lent into this at points, but being on the switch present a chance to make the whole map feel like that. Disguise it is a set path better, you can make a world feel more organic without going full open world.
